Archives Data of a Model

The drawing archive d_PICREG database and related format files and accessories support fields according to the ISO 7200 standard.

Edit the model's archives data as follows:

  1. Select Archives | Documents | Data.
  2. Edit the data in the Archive Data dialog box.
  3. Select OK.

Document label data

Code
The label of the document. When you create a new document, you will specify a name for it. If automatic naming is in use, click the Get button.
Revision
The latest version (revision) of the document. If this field is empty, there are no versions (revisions) of the document yet.
Changes
You can view the document's version history by clicking this button.
Item Code
Item label. If this field is empty, an item has not yet been created of the document.
Used in?
You can click this button to check the product structure and find out in which products this item has been used.

Document title data

Drawn by, Checked by, Approved by
The initials of the document's designer, inspector or approver, max. 6 characters. Define the preselection options in the user register.
Type
The field contains the type of the document. Define the preselection options in the user register.
Department
The field contains the department responsible for the document. Define the preselection options in the user register.
Support
The field contains technical support related to the document. Define the preselection options in the user register.
Description
The descriptive text of the document. The description is displayed on the drawing sheet. Define the preselections in the Product and Description Data.
Note If you are connected to Flow, you can edit the description fields in a separate dialog box. Select a button and define the description in the selected language to a separate dialog box's fields.
Description 2, Description 3
Description texts for the document, not displayed on the drawing sheet.
Date
The document's creation date entered by the designer. The inspection date entered by the inspector after having inspected the document. The approval date entered by the approver after having approved the document.
Release
The date the document was released.
Sheet number, Sheet numbers
The sheet number and the number of sheets.
Weight
This field contains the program's weight calculation result.
Weight, Weighted
When the Weighed checkbox is selected, this field contains the weighed weight of the product.
General Tolerances
The tolerance used in the dimensioning.

Project Data

Product
This field contains the product (model), to which the document is connected. Define the preselections in the Product and Description Data. This is related to a documentation form older than the ISO 7200 standard.
Connected to
This field contains the label of the assembly group, to which the document is connected. Select a model from the archive. This is related to a documentation form older than the ISO 7200 standard.
Project
You can save the model in the active project by clicking the A button. This field indicates the project to which the model belongs.
Previous, Next
The content of the Previous field is the document that will be replaced by the current document. In the Next field, the replacement drawing of the document is marked. These fields refer to a documentation form older than the ISO 7200 standard.
Language
Adds a language code to indicate the language used in the document. Define the preselection options in the user register.
Status
The field shows the status of the document. Define the preselection options in the user register.

Classification Data

Keywords
A free-form field that can be used when searching for a document. It comes with the ISO 7200 standard. G4 searches drawings primarily through the drawing archive.
Class
This field contains the class that defines the model's classification. It can be a part, assembly or a class chosen from the item data.
Main Group
The main group of item classification.
Sub Group
The subgroup of item classification.
BOM Image
This drawing is used as a thumbnail image in an illustrated bill of materials of a model, if the value of the field is 1. With the values zero (0) or cleared, the drawing is not collected to an illustrated bill of materials. Collect a Parts List in an Assembly Model.

Savings history
By clicking this button you can view the saving history of the model, if it has been enabled in the settings.
