Create a Thumbnail Image for an Illustrated Parts List

In addition to the item data of a part and subassembly, their thumbnail images are collected on an illustrated parts list. Create a thumbnail image of a model as follows:

1. Create a drawing of the model.
   • Select only a single projection for the drawing.
   • Press F5 to fit the drawing to the projection.
   • If necessary, edit the projection properties, for example, hide the center lines. Save the drawing in the archive.
2. Save the drawing in the archives.
3. In the archives data of the drawing, select value 1 in the BOM Image field. With the values zero (0) or cleared, the drawing is not collected to an illustrated bill of materials.
4. Click OK.
