About Rendering in General

Rendering

With rendering you can produce photorealistic images from 3D models. Images can be saved to JPEG, PNG, BMP, TGA, TIFF, HDR and PostScript formats.

You have access to a wide range of materials, and can create materials of your own.

In addition to materials, rendering allows the handling of light sources, background and foreground, and also the creation of new light sources and backgrounds/foregrounds. There are several shaders to choose from to suit your needs.

The rendering functions can only be used when in 3D mode. However, you can move a rendered image from a 3D window to a 2D window.

Rendering consists of an option to the application software, the LightWorks software, which is a registered trademark of LightWork Design Ltd. The user interface for the LightWorks ® software was created by Vertex Systems Oy.
