Add Trims to Selected Eaves

Click the eaves that you want to add trims to. You can click the eaves of the selected slopes only. The trims are automatically combined with the eave, in which case, for example, if the eave is moved, the trims are moved with it.

1. Select the slope. Select several slopes by holding down the Ctrl key.
2. Select Plane Structure | Complementary Parts | Eaves Trims Trims to Selected Eaves. The Eave Trims dialog box opens.
3. Select the eave trim set in the dialog box.

   The program marks the available eaves with a check box.

4. Select one or more check boxes.
5. Select Confirm.

You can also add eaves trims from the context-sensitive menu of the eave's middle grip point:

1. Move the cursor close to the middle grip point of the eave.
2. Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
3. Select Add Eave Trims. The Eave Trims dialog box opens.
4. Select the eave trim set in the dialog box.

• If you have already added an eave trim to an adjacent eave, the connection of the trims at the slope corners will not be automatically created. If necessary, create the connection with the Link Trim Piece Ends function.
• You can change the eave trims by defining a component change rule. Select components of the type Eave Trims to be changed. The eave trims will be changed slope by slope, in which case the search criteria is formed of roof parameters. Select the eave trim set to be changed to from one of the eave_trim libraries. The eave trims will be changed on the eaves of the slopes that match the search criteria, and on which you have already added eave trims earlier.
• The object type of the eave trims is Eave and Wall Trims.
