Trim Piece Direction

Select the new trim piece direction from the auxiliary menu.

Direction from upper edge

With this function, the trim piece is confined to the direction perpendicular to the slope. The direction of the trim piece remains unchanged even if the shape of the eaves is changed. In the example below, the confining direction has been marked with an arrow. The trim piece has been added to the original structure. After that the shape of the eaves has been changed. Top edge has been defined as the confining point.

Direction from end of roof slope

With this function, the trim piece is confined to the direction of the end of the eaves. The direction of the trim piece remains unchanged even if the shape of the eaves is changed. In the example below, the confining direction has been marked with an arrow. The trim piece has been added to the original structure. After that the shape of the eaves has been changed. Top edge has been defined as the confining point.

Direction from angle of bottom edge

With this function, the direction of the trim piece is confined according to the example below. The direction of the trim piece remains unchanged even if the shape of the eaves is changed. In the example, the confining direction has been marked with an arrow. The trim piece has been added to the original structure. After that the shape of the eaves has been changed. Top edge has been defined as the confining point.
