Printing a Differential BOM

Option System

You can view the Differential bill of materials generated as a result of comparing the material quantities of option groups to the default building model.

If you are using the presolve of options, see Creating a Differential BOM.

If you do not use the presolve of options, you can create the Differential bill of materials by using the Solving ±Models function.

Do either of the following:

  1. Select Options | +/- BOM Groups Print +/- Reports.
  2. Select the report to be printed from a list.

The difference between these two reports is the output format of the bill of materials which is generated as a result of the comparison process. The output formats can be customized to meet the requirements of your company.

The Differential BOM is opened in the word processor defined in the setup file.
