Load a Sub Project

Sub Projects

You can load a sub project that has been added to one drawing-model pair of the main project in another drawing-model pair in two ways:

  1. Activate the drawing-model pair to which the sub project has already been added, for example 1st floor wall layout.
  2. Select the sub project in the floor plan drawing.
  3. Do either of the following:
    • Select Sub Project | Load to Other Drawing.
    • Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu, and select Load Sub Project to Other Drawing.
  4. Select the drawing-model pair in which the sub project is to be loaded from a button menu, for example 2nd floor wall layout.
  5. Select the drawing file you wish to load from the sub project in the Select Sub Project dialog box. You need not select the location of the drawing, as the position of its origin will be determined by the origin of the drawing added earlier.

Or, alternatively:

  1. Activate the drawing-model pair in which the sub project is to be loaded, for example 2nd floor wall layout.
  2. Select Modeling | Zone | Sub Project > Load.
  3. Select the drawing-model pair to which the sub project has already been added from the button menu.
  4. Select the sub project. The drawing-model pair in which the sub project is to be loaded is activated again.
  5. Select the drawing file you wish to load from the sub project in the Select Sub Project dialog box. You need not select the location of the drawing, as the position of its origin will be determined by the origin of the drawing added earlier.
