Controlling Production Line
Connection to the production control system is an add-on option of the Vertex BD software. Data transfer from a building model to the production control system always requires software customization. Data transfer can be implemented for several production line types, for example:
- Hundegger SC
- Hundegger K2
- Howick
- Omnisaw
- Optimaster
- Weinmann
- MiTek
- Custom
Each production line type requires a separate add-on option. When the add-on option has been added to your software, you can create transfer files by selecting a function from the 
NC Output menu on the Output tab.
Note:
- Transfer files are created based on the wall panel, floor panel, roof panel and/or frame line elevations. Create and update the drawings before creating transfer files.
- The elements (wall, floor or roof panels, frame lines), from which the transfer files are created, and the folder to which the transfer files will be saved, are defined in the settings. The setup file is in the ../custom/setup folder.
- Vertex supports Hundegger Cambium interface starting from version 26.0. It supports all the machinings that have been supported in earlier versions for K2/K3 series machines (BVN) and SC series machines (BVX). The file extension of the new transfer file is .bvx. The file extension is the same as in the older transfer file (BVX 1) for SC machines, but the content has been updated (BVX 2).
