Delete All Constraints

Delete all geometric or other than dimension constraints in the drawing. You can also remove constraints if the Constraints Manager is disabled.

The dimension constraints are always visible in a drawing.

Other constraints are indicated in the drawing with graphical symbols. Their visibility in a drawing is determined by whether or not the constraints have been defined visible.

  1. Select Drafting | Constraints | Remove constraint > Remove all constraints.
  2. Select either of the following:
    • Delete all constraints in the drawing by selecting All.
    • Delete all constraints other than dimension constraints by selecting Other than dimension constraints. The Equal Distance and Equal Radius constraints are removed from the drawing, because they are marked in the drawing by graphical symbols.
Note:
  • Press the F9 key to toggle the visibility of the symbols.
