Clip by Roof

You can clip a space object by the bottom surface of roof slopes.

Select a space object.
Do either of the following:
- Select Space | Connections | Clip by Roof or Ceiling.
- Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu and select Clip with Roof.
Select the cutting slopes.
Select Confirm.

When you clip a space object with a roof, a connection is formed between the roof and the space. As you move the roof, the space object follows the change.

Note: When a space object follows the roof offset, it stretches in the direction of the offset, but not beyond its original height.

You can delete the connection as follows:

Select a space object.
Do either of the following:
- Select Space | Connections | Disconnect.
- Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu and select Disconnect.

Note: You cannot stretch a space object to a roof.
