Edit the Drawing Properties of a Space
Edit the properties of the space border line, as well as the color and transparency of the space object in the model.
Border-line Properties
You can edit the drawing properties of the spaces in a building as follows:
- Select the the space object in the drawing.
- Select Space | Properties |
2D Line Properties.
- Select the line properties:
- Line font - Line type, such as a continuous or dashed line.
- Pen - Line width. The effect is shown in the printout.
- Layer - The default is the layer 119 in the software supplier’s default layer scheme.
- Scale - Line spacing (scale). Affects all the other line types except the continuous line.
- Confirm by clicking OK.
Note:
- The default properties are set in the system settings with the line name SPACE.LINE2D.
- When you select dashed as the line type, the drawing of the line is affected by the setting Fast drawing of dashed lines. When the fast drawing of dashed lines is enabled, the line will be drawn on the screen and printouts in the same way, regardless of the line's Scale value or the drawing's scale. Color and Transparency in the Model
You can edit the color and transparency of a space object in a building using the functions on the ribbon bar.
- Select a space object.
- On the Space tab, in the Properties group, in the
Color menu, select a color, or choose either of the following from the menu:
- On the Space tab, in the Properties group, in the
Transparency menu, select the transparency or enter the transparency value as a percentage in the text field. At a value of 0, the space is fully opaque, while a value of 100 means that it is fully transparent.
