Export Buildings to VXZ Files

You can create a compressed file of the building folder in local archive, which can then be sent as an e-mail attachment, for example. If necessary, you can remove the folder of the compressed building from the archive.

1. Select Archives | Buildings | Export.
2. Select the buildings to be compressed in a dialog box. You can sort buildings by name, date, saving location or description by clicking the headers. Each building is compressed into a VXZ file of its own.

3. Click OK.
4. Select the folder in which you want to save the compressed files.
5. Click OK.

   The program compresses the buildings and saves the VXZ files in the selected folder. The VXZ files are named according to the building ids, for example Building_1.vxz. You will be prompted: Do you want to delete these buildings and building folders from the archive?

6. Do either of the following:
   • If you want to keep the folders of the compressed buildings in the archive, click No.
   • If you want to delete the folders of the compressed buildings from the archive, click Yes.
