Save an Open Building to VXZ File

You can save a building opened from a local archive or DesignStream system to a VXZ file as follows:

  1. Select File > Export > Export building to VXZ file.
  2. Select the folder where you want to save the compressed file in the Folder Browser dialog box.
  3. Click OK.

    The program compresses the building and saves the VXZ file in the selected folder. The VXZ files are named according to the building id, for example Building_1.vxz.

Note:
  • You can save several buildings into VXZ files by selecting Archives | Buildings | Export.
  • When a building is saved to Vertex Sync, you can save the building to a VXZ file using the building browser function.
    1. Select the building in the browser.
    2. Right-click and select Export to VXZ file.
