Send Buildings By Email

You can create compressed files of building folders in the local archive, and attach them to a new e-mail message. Using this function requires that a separate e-mail program has been installed on your computer.

  1. Select Archives | Buildings | Export Send buildings by email.
  2. Select the buildings to be compressed in a dialog box. You can sort buildings by name, date, saving location or description by clicking the headers. Each building is compressed into a VXZ file of its own.

  3. Click OK.

    The program compresses the buildings to VXZ files. The VXZ files are named according to the buildings, for example Building_1.vxz. The program opens a new e-mail message with the compressed files attached to it.

Note:
  • If you are using a browser based webmail, you can compress a building into a VXZ file with the function Export Buildings to VXZ Files. In this case, you can select the folder in which you want to save the compressed file. Attach the compressed file to an e-mail message using the webmail's own function.
