Enclosure Area
Define areas in a drawing, inside of which the default symbol device label is the label specified for the area. For example, symbols in a certain device cabinet can be drawn in their own position area.
See the following items concerning position area.
- The enclosure area label only applies to those symbols that do not have a respective device label part.
- If the enclosure area label is entered without a prefix or with the prefix, (for example K1 or -K1), the label becomes the default device label for all symbols inside the enclosure area.
- If a default value is to be entered with the enclosure area label for the label entity (for example= S1) or position ( fro example +OP1) section, the label must have the prefix "=" or "+", indicating the label section.
- Enclosure areas can also be inside each other. The device label assigned to a symbol depends on the innermost enclosure area. If the enclosure areas have been added so that they overlap each other, the device label assigned for a symbol inside the common enclosure area is vague.
- With the drawing archive card, default values applicable for all drawing sheets can be entered for the entity and position parts of the device label. With the Sheet archive card, respective default values can be entered for a single drawing sheet.
