Plate List

The function creates a plate list of plates found of the sheets of the same drawing group.

The plate list is collected from the active drawing, drawings belonging to the same drawing group, and sheets of the same drawing.

Plate texts are collected in the plate list from the most recently saved drawings. If plate texts are added or removed, the drawing must be saved before creating the plate list.

1. Open the drawing which you wish to collect plate list.
2. On the tab, in the Reports group, click Plate List.
   • Create a list. Select List and select the type of the list.

     The plate list is opened in the Vertex text editor window, for example.

     If you selected Excel as the list format, the list will not be displayed. A plate text list in the Excel format is saved in a directory specified by the program.

   • Save the list as a Vertex database by selecting Save. Name the database and select Save.
3. Select Quit.

Note

• The database is saved in the active project directory Shared/projects/project_name/.
• If there is no active project, the database is saved in the common database directory Shared/dbases.
