Dependence Constraint

Add the line which comes from the 3D model and line added by the 2D function, between whic you can add dependence. The lines connected to the constraint must be in the same projection.

1. Select Drawing | Constraints | Add dependence constraint.
2. Select Drafting | Constraints | Distance > Dependence.
3. Select in the drawing the line from the model projection.
4. Select in the same projection the 2D line.

Meaning of the dependence constraint

You will see the meaning of the constraint when you update the model drawing.

• The 2D line will be hided, if the line is disappeared from the model projection because of modifications of model geometry.
• The 2D line will is displayed again, if the line is restored to the model projection.
• Dependence do not mean that the line position do not follow the line which is in the model. You can do it by the constraints.
