Stretch Lines
You can stretch lines and arcs in a limited area in a drawing. You can select the elements to be stretched with a rectangle. The lines will be elongated or shrunk. Define the stretching in relation to a reference point.
- Select DrawingDrafting | Line Tools | Stretch.
- Click the lower left corner.
- Click the upper right corner.
- If necessary, remove an element from the selection.
- Select Confirm.
- Select the reference point in relation to which you will define the offset.
- Select a new location for the reference point.
Note:
- You can also stretch an individual element by moving the end point of the element by the handle.
- If the 2D Constraint Manager is enabled, a dimension constraint may prevent stretching. You may temporarily remove the dimension constraint for stretching. Clear the Drives geometry checkbox in the dimension properties.
