Line as a Sweep Direction

You can define a line as the sweep direction. You need to define the sweep direction when a point has been selected as the position of the cross section.

  1. Select the line as the sweep direction clicking the following button:

  2. Do one of the following:
    • Select a line from the model.
    • Select the context-sensitive menu function X axis direction.
    • Select the context-sensitive menu function Y axis direction.
    • Select the context-sensitive menu function Z axis direction.
Note:
  • Instead of clicking, press the E key when the cursor is over the line.
  • You can also select the axis direction using the following keys:
    • U - direction of the X axis.
    • I - direction of the Y axis.
    • O - direction of the Z axis.
