Add Your Own Photograph Background to the Visualization Background Library
Rendering
You can add your own photograph to the to the visualization background library as follows:
- On the tab, click Rendering Textures, and then click Backgrounds.
- Select My Library.
- Select the folder in which to create a new background/foreground, or create a new folder, if necessary.
- Right-click to open the function menu.
- Select New Folder.
- Enter a name for the new folder.
- Select the folder you have just created.
- Move the cursor to an empty area in the right browser frame (thumbnail area).
- Right-click to open the actions menu, and select New background.
- Specify the following data for the background:
- Name - Type a name for the thumbnail image.
- Type - Select one of the following from the list:
- Scaled image - The photo is scaled to fill the whole background.
- Backfoto - A photograph on which a model can be positioned using pairs of points. See Position a Model on a Background Photo.
- Scbackfoto - A photograph on which a model can be positioned using pairs of points. You can move and scale the photo relative to the model after the model has been positioned. See Position a Model on a Scalable Background Photo.
- Click File name and select the image file you wish to use.
- Select OK.
The new photograph background is added to the visualization background library. You can select the photograph background and use it in any model by double-clicking the thumbnail in the browser.
Note:
- You can add your own photograph to the rendering background library also by copying an existing background from the Vertex Library as the basis.
