Add Text to the Block Surface

General

• Text engravings can be added to the blocks for different needs.
• The texts are added to the block itself as a sketch on its surface, and Guide Curve is selected as the operation.

Add the required texts to the block

1. Select the block part (the first part of the assembly that carries the assembly label).
2. Select the context-sensitive function Edit.
3. Select the surface where you want to add the text.
4. Select the context-sensitive function New Sketch > Face.
5. Select the function Sketch | Note | Text.
   • The program opens the dialog box Note Properties.
6. Select the font, if necessary.
   • Use the upper case letters, i.e., select the font NORMAL_OLD.
7. Type the text and accept it by clicking OK and click it in place.

8. To exit the sketch mode, select Sketch | Return | OK or
   • select the context-sensitive function OK.
9. Select the operation Guide Curve and click OK to accept it.
