Add Automatic Constraints
General
- You can add automatic constraints for placing components in block design.
- Two Distance constraints are added between the origin of the block part, i.e. the origin point, and the grip point of the component.
- Distance constraints are only added to those drillings that have only one constraint, Coincidence, to the block surface.
- In other words, the program does not add another distance constraint to a component that has only one distance constraint in addition to the coincidence constraint.
Add Automatic Constraints
- Select the context-sensitive function Other Functions> Block Assembly Auto Constraints.
- The program adds at once all the missing constraints for those drillings that only had a coincidence constraint with the surface of the block.
You can check the constraints for a drilling (component) if you click the drilling.
- Use the M key to display the drilling if necessary.
- In this case, only the constraints for this component will appear in the list of constraints.
