- Material category
- The material category to which the surface belongs. The material categories for building
components are defined in the structure or component libraries. A default rendering
material is set for each material category in the material link database (LWMAP).
- As the system administrator, you can edit the default rendering material set for a
material category, using a system management function.
- Material categories are not defined for parts (G4) that are modeled with the modeler.
When modeling the rendering material of a G4 part, you can select the material category
from a list or building model with the Pick from surface button.
