Restore the Default Material For a Selected Surface

Use this function to restore a selected surface to its default rendering material, in relation to its material category. If you have edited the material of an individual surface, the default material is restored to the selected surface. If you have edited the surface material by using the mass editing function, the default material is restored to all surfaces which belong to the same material category. The function reloads the default material from the rendering material library, removing all the user made changes from the model.

  1. Select Rendering | Surface Texture | Restore All Restore.
  2. Select the surface in the model.

  • You can also select this function in the object tree. Select the object tree title Rendering. Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu, and select Restore Default Material.
