New Size to the Door Library

You can copy a door from the system library to your own door library, and edit its properties as desired.

  1. Open the library browser by selecting System | Libraries | Libraries.
  2. Select the folder System Libraries.
  3. Select the library type Doors.
  4. Select a library, for example Standard Doors. You will see the library components in the right side browser pane.
  5. Select one or more doors.
  6. Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
  7. Select either of the following:
    • Copy

      Copy and paste the door to an existing custom door library. Select the folder Custom Libraries and the library type Doors. Select the library, and Paste from the right-click menu.

    • Copy to New Library

      Create a new custom door library and copy the doors to it. Type a description for the library.

  8. Double-click the door thumbnail, and edit the properties in a database view.

Note:
  • The thumbnail image of the component in the browser is not updated automatically. You can update the thumbnail image by editing the library. Select LOAD3D for the component from the Thumbnail ID list, and click the Browser Upd button.
