2D Drawing of a Modeled Component

In order to be able also to add a modeled component to a floor plan, a 2D drawing of the component is required. The program will automatically generate it from a top view projection when you save the component in the component library. If the automatically generated 2D drawing is unsuitable as is, you can use the 2D drafting functions to create the drawing yourself. You can also create the drawing directly from the part model and edit the drawing, for example by deleting lines.

Once you have drafted or created a 2D drawing of the component, set the drawing as the component's 2D symbol by editing the component parameters in the macro component library.
