Stair and Railing Line Properties in a Floor Plan
You can define the drawing properties (layer, line width, line type, scale and color) of stairs and railings designed with the Stair Generator in the system settings.
The same properties are also used in the stair's reflected geometry, excluding the color, which is always light blue in reflected geometry.
You can define different properties for the cut line and the lines below the level it defines in reflected geometry. These properties will be used when the Reflection is Mirrored property is selected for the stair.
The lines are named as follows in the settings:
Name | Explanation |
STAIR.STRINGER | String lines. |
STAIR.STEP | Step lines. |
STAIR.STEP_C | Corner step lines. |
STAIR.RAILING | Railing lines. |
STAIR.ARROW | Direction arrow lines. |
STAIR.CUT_LINE | The cut line. |
STAIR.CUT_LINE_R | The cut line in reflected geometry when the Reflection is
Mirrored property is selected for the stair. Otherwise, the line will be
drawn in reflected geometry like STAIR.CUT_LINE.
These settings have no effect on the color of reflected geometry. |
STAIR.CL_LINE | The lines above the level defined by the cut line.
You can only change the line type and scale. |
STAIR.CL_LINE_R | The lines below the level defined by the cut line in reflected geometry when the
Reflection is Mirrored property is selected for the stair.
Otherwise, the line will be drawn in reflected geometry like STAIR.CL_LINE.
You can only change the line type and scale. |
Note
- The layer defined for the line is valid when the stair parameter 2D Drawing Layer = -1. If the parameter has a different value (= layer number), this parameter will determine the layer to which all stair lines and texts are added.
