Rotate Around a Point With the Cursor Keys

You can rotate the model around a fixed point.

  1. Select View | Projection | Isometric Rotate Around Point.
  2. Click a fixed point which remains in place.
  3. Select the speed of movement with the number keys 1 (minimum) to 9 (maximum).
  4. Rotate the model one step at a time by pressing the cursor keys:
    • Arrow right
    • Arrow left
    • Arrow up
    • Arrow down
    You can switch on continuous rotation by pressing Shift + arrow key once.

    You can also change the speed during rotation. After this, press the arrow key again.

    You can change the direction by pressing the arrow keys. The first press stops the movement, the second press changes direction.

  5. Quit the rotation by pressing the Esc key.

If the model disappears from the working window, you can restore it by selecting one of the standard projections from the tool strip or in the Projection group on the View tab.
