Update a Building Group Project from the DesignStream System

Updating a building group project from the DesignStream system may be necessary when you have retrieved a copy of the building group project from the server to a local project archive and added the project to a main project. Another user may check out the building group project from the server and make changes to it. Such changes will not be automatically updated in a project in a local archive. You can update the building group project by deleting it from the local project archive as follows:

  1. Select Archives | Buildings | Maintenance Delete.
  2. Select the project to be deleted from the list.

  3. Confirm by clicking OK.
  4. Confirm project deletion by selecting Yes in the message box.

When you open the main project next time, the building group project will be recopied from the server.
