Boarding and Cladding

You can add boarding or cladding to the top layer of a horizontal structure, or a floor, roof or wall panel. This requires that the layer's type is COVER and a framing tool has been selected for the layer. The cladding is generated using the framing tool Cladding. You can select a layer's framing tool already in the library, or when you add or edit a structure.

The cladding boards are profiles with the object type of either Floor Joists or Ceiling Joists. The boards can be collected into a materials database and generate a cutting list.

The program will create the 3D geometry of the cladding in the framing model FRAMING.vxm.

• Select the Cladding Framing Tool
• Generate Cladding
• Define a Base Point
• Delete Cladding
