Editing Descriptions of Keynote Types

You can edit the keynote type descriptions defined in the KEYNOTE_TYPES database as follows:

1. Select System | Symbols | Key Notes Keynote Types. The Keynote Types database view opens. The database shows the following information on the types:

   • Type – Keynote type. When adding a keynote to a drawing, you can choose whether or not the type is shown in the keynote symbol.

   • Description – Description text of the type. The descriptions are displayed in keynote legends added to drawings.

2. Do one of the following:

   • Edit the description texts of an existing type.

   • Add a new type to the database by copying an existing row or by adding a new row, see Editing Vertex Databases. Edit the description text of the type.
3. Confirm by clicking OK.

Note

• The program will save the changes made in a user-specific database. If the database is not found in the Custom folder, it is first copied from the System folder. Confirm the copying by clicking Yes in the message box.
• System tab is only available if you are a system administrator.
