Open a Previous Save

You can restore a previous save of an open building as follows:

  1. Select Archives | Buildings | Open > Select Save.

    The Select Save dialog box opens. The dialog box list displays the previous saves by the user, plus the autosaves, along with corresponding save numbers, dates and times.

  2. Select the check box of the save you want . The preview image shows the 2D drawing and 3D model of the building according to the save.
  3. Confirm by clicking OK.
Note:
  • The number of saves in the list is defined in the BDSXX keyword group with the max_building_versions keyword.
  • The drawing-model pair in the preview image of the dialog box is the same as the one that was active when you selected the function.
  • You can set the number of autosaves, see Autosaving a Building.
  • You can also select the save when opening a building.
  • If the buiding is an option model, which is in the "Solved Building" state, the program asks you to confirm the opening of an older save, as restoring the option model may not necessarily succeed after that.
  • You can delete all the old saves and keep only the latest save when closing a building.
