Vertex Sync

It is recommended to move the template buildings to Vertex Sync. When a template building is in the Sync service, all files belonging to it get a template label. When you start a building based on a template building in the Sync service and save the building, the template label is removed from all files that have been processed during the design. When you have pushed the building to Sync, only these files are displayed in the Sync service. This prevents, for example, unnecessary empty drawing sheets from being displayed in the Sync service.

You can move the template buildings by using the function Move Buildings to Sync. Before you move the template buildings, open and save them in Vertex BD 2024 (30.0).

You can also create a new template building to Sync based on a template building in the local archive:

  1. Start a new building. Enter the building id.
  2. Choose to base the building on an existing template building.
  3. Select VERTEXSYNC as the saving location.
  4. On the building data card, select 1 in the Template field.
  5. Confirm by clicking OK. The building opens.
  6. Close the building.
  7. Select Push to Sync.
  8. Click Save.
