Vertex Sync

You can create a new building or copy an existing building.
  • Create a New Building
    1. Select File > New building.
    2. Enter an id and name for the new building.
    3. Select the building to be based on a template building in the Vertex Sync service, so that the Sync service does not display unnecessarily empty drawing sheets. You can also select a template building in the local archive, but in this case the empty sheets will be displayed in the Sync service.
    4. Select VERTEXSYNC as the saving location.
    5. Confirm by clicking OK.
    6. Fill in the building data.

  • Copy an Existing Building
    1. Select File > Open building to open the building browser.
    2. Select to copy a building that is stored in SYNC. The building can be a template building or any other building.
    3. Right-click and select Copy Building.
    4. Enter an id for the building.

      The program copies the building. The progress bar displays the progress of the action. The building browser stays open.

    5. Open the building by double-clicking the id in the building browser.
    6. Fill in the building data.

Synchronize the Building

You can synchronize the building to Vertex Sync without closing the building.

Synchronize the Active Building

When you close the building, you can move the building to Vertex Sync and either overwrite an old revision or create a new revision.
