Synchronize the Active Building

Vertex Sync

You can synchronize an open building without closing it, and continue to design the building. Do either of the following:

Click the button in the upper left corner of the working window.
Select Archives | Sync | Sync to Sync.

The function opens the Sync to Sync dialog box. Select one of the following:

Overwrite existing revision [revision number] - A new revision is not created in Sync. The revision number remains unchanged.
Create a new revision - A new revision is created. The revisions are numbered according to the numbering system selected in the Sync service.

If necessary, enter a description of the changes in the Check-in comment field.

A preview image of a building is generated each time the building is synchronized. The preview image is generated from the view in the model window at the time of synchronization. The preview image is displayed in the building browser and in the Vertex Sync browser interface.

In addition, a model in GLTF format (GLB file) is automatically generated from the building model. GLTF is a standardized data transfer format for 3D models shared in browser-based applications. The entire building model, including geometry hidden from the model, is stored in the GLB file. You can open the model for viewing in the Vertex Sync browser interface.

Note: If a building has already been moved to Vertex Sync, the operation does not move the entire building again, but only the new and changed files are synchronized.
