Copy a Constraint into another Configuration

You can copy a dimension (distance or angle) into another configuration. Copying speeds up working when there are configurations in the assembly in which a dimension needs to change when the configuration is changed. Copy a constraint as follows:

1. From beneath the assembly tree, select the constraint you wish to copy.
2. Select the context-sensitive function Copy.
3. Edit the dimension properties in the Edit Constraint dialog box.
4. In the Edit Constraint dialog box, select the configurations in which you wish the copied constraint to be enabled.
5. Select OK.
