Add a Text to a Part Model

You can add reference texts to a part model. The texts are displayed only in the model, not in the drawings created from it. If you want to add texts to a drawing, use the function Text (2D).

1. Select Part | Dimensions | Text.
2. Edit the data in the Note Properties dialog box.
3. Select OK.
4. Select an auxiliary function for positioning the text, if necessary. You can, for example, rotate the text or mirror it.
5. Select the position of the text.
6. Add more texts by repeating steps 2-4 or finish adding texts by selecting Cancel.
