MBD Types

General

• MBD dimensions, TED dimension (Theoretically Exact Dimension) are distance, diameter, radius, angle, and arc length.

Dimension button

The dimension button is MBD-based in part and assembly mode.

When adding an old dimension, the following warning is given:

MBD distance dimension direction locking

The direction is locked to the axis of the main model that is selected by right-clicking. You can change the selection either before selecting the elements of the distance dimension or during the dragging of the distance dimension (but no longer after setting it in place).
