Cut a Pipe

You can cut a pipe either without preselection or with it.

1. Select a pipeline from the assembly.
2. Select Piping tab > Tools group > Cut pipe.

   Or

   Place the cursor in the assembly window and deselect all by pressing Esc. Select Assembly tab > Piping group > Cut pipe.

3. Select a cut-off point and cut the pipe into two pipes.
4. Change the pipe's center line reference point by selecting Next reference point.

   The active reference point is illustrated with an yellow dot. The cursor's local origin is always zeroed to the active reference point.

   You can type with keyboard the exact location for the cut-off point from the active reference point.

5. Select Confirm.
