Move a Pipe Part
Piping Design
You can move a pipe part in an assembly. The movement of a part can be limited by, for example, geometric constraints, handle linkages or fixing.
For example, if you move a component placed on a pipeline, the pipeline connected to it with handle linkages is moved/stretched along with the component.
Move the pipe part as follows:
- Select the part to be moved as follows:
- Select a pipe on a pipeline.
- Select a bent pipe by pressing Alt+left mouse button.
- Select a piping component.
- Select the context-sensitive function Move.
- You can select auxiliary functions before clicking a reference point from the part.
- Select the reference point from the part, in relation to which you click the new position.
- You can select auxiliary functions before clicking a new location for the part.
- Click a new location for the part. You can also select the origin (point of the reference point macro) as the new location.
