Save a Machined Part

You can save a part that has been machined in an assembly with machining features under a new name in the archive or in another location. A part's feature history will be removed. You can select the function after executing the machining features.

1. Select the part to be saved from the assembly.
2. Select the the context-sensitive function Machining Features >  Save Machined as New....
3. Select a directory and name the file.
4. Select Save.
