Import Project Files from Flow
Use the Import project files function to transfer project-specific files stored on a project to a local Vertex G4Plant/G4PI installation. The prerequisite is that the project has a connection to a document created by using the Export project files function. The zip file package is named according to the project ID. In order to import files, there must be one active drawing or model to edit in the Vertex G4Plant/G4PI program that has a connection to the desired project in Flow. This tells the program which project file package to search for.
- On the tab, under the Export models, drawings and parts lists menu, select Import project files.
- If a zip package named according to the project's ID is found in the Flow system, which was previously connected to the project, the program opens a dialog box that lists the files found in the package, each on its own row. If desired, the user can control which files will be restored to their own computer.
- The files marked in turquoise in the list have a newer modification date on the user's computer than those found in Flow's package.
- The files marked in red on the list have an older modification date on the user's computer than those found in Flow's package.
- Only the files selected from the list will be transferred to the user's own computer. To select or deselect a row:
- Click to select a single row.
- Hold down the Ctrl key to select more than one row.
- To select all rows at once, click on the first row and then hold down the Shift key while clicking on the last row. Use the scroll bar to scroll to the end of the list.
- Click Import files to save the selected files to the user's local project directory.
Note: You can make changes to the contents of the file package connected to the project also by reserving and opening the document in question via Flow's browser interface.
