Add Your Own Photograph Background to the Visualization Background Library

You can add your own photograph to the to the visualization background library as follows:

1. On the tab, click Rendering Textures, and then click Backgrounds.
2. Select My Library.
3. Select the folder in which to create a new background/foreground, or create a new folder, if necessary.
   1. Right-click to open the function menu.
   2. Select New Folder.
   3. Enter a name for the new folder.
   4. Select the folder you have just created.
4. Move the cursor to an empty area in the right browser frame (thumbnail area).
5. Right-click to open the actions menu, and select New background.
6. Specify the following data for the background:
   • Name - Type a name for the thumbnail image.
   • Type - Select one of the following from the list:
     • Scaled image - The photo is scaled to fill the whole background.
     • Backfoto - A photograph on which a model can be positioned using pairs of points. See Position a Model on a Background Photo.
     • Scbackfoto - A photograph on which a model can be positioned using pairs of points. You can move and scale the photo relative to the model after the model has been positioned. See Position a Model on a Scalable Background Photo.
7. Click File name and select the image file you wish to use.

8. Select OK.

   The new photograph background is added to the visualization background library. You can select the photograph background and use it in any model by double-clicking the thumbnail in the browser.
