Scale

The Scale function allows you to change the scaling of a previously read cloud if you notice that the dimension unit selected during the point cloud import was incorrect. Scaling is based on a scaling factor (a positive real number).

1. Select Point clouds | Tools | Scale.

   The Scale dialog box opens. The dialog box shows the point clouds found in the model. When you move the cursor to a point cloud row in the list, the program marks it in the model and in the feature tree.

2. Select or clear the selection of a point cloud in the list.
3. Set the desired scale factor.
4. Click Apply or OK to set the scale for the selected point clouds.

Note: Alternatively, select the point cloud from the feature tree and from the right-click menu, select Point cloud > Scale.
