Connect/Disconnect Parts

You can use this function to connect profiles, sheets or building components to an area (a framing, or a wall, floor, roof or truss panel). The parts may be free or they may be connected to another structure, at which point their parent structure will be changed.

You can use the same function to disconnect the parts.

  1. Select a structure and a layer, if necessary.

  2. Do either of the following:
    • Select Panel | Framing | Add Profile Connect.
    • Select Plane Structure | Framing | Add Profile Connect.

    If parts have been connected to the structure, they are highlighted in color.

  3. Select the part to be connected/disconnected one by one or use an area selection.
  4. Select Confirm.
