Walk Through

Walk through the model by selecting View | Projection | Isometric Walk Through.

During flying, the model is viewed in a perspective projection.

The movement is affected by the movement speed and turning speed variables, the values of which are displayed in a prompt in the status bar. Control the movement with the mouse. The cursor will indicate the direction of movement. The model moves smoothly and accurately, but the speed increases when moving towards the edges of the window. The speed is affected by the movement of the mouse, not the computer's performance. Movement speed is displayed as m/s and turning speed as °/s. Move the mouse down (towards yourself), up (away from yourself), left or right.

Quit by pressing the Esc key.

Note:
  • Before the walk-through, you can first select a suitable view in the drawing, see Define a 3D View in a Drawing.
  • If the model disappears from the working window in the middle of navigation, it will return to the window when you select one of the standard projections from the tool strip or in the Projection group on the View tab.
