Keep a Building Reserved in the DesignStream System

DesignStream Interface

You can close a building in such a manner that it still remains reserved for your username. The building stays in the local building archive, from which you can reopen it for editing. Other users cannot check out the building from the server.

  1. Save the building in either of the following ways:
    • Select > Save Building.
    • Press Ctrl+S.
  2. Select > Close Building. The Close Building dialog box opens.
  3. Select the Keep building reserved from DesignStream radio button.
  4. Click the Close button.
Note:
  • The building is saved in the local building archive. When you open the building, you need to select, for example, saving location PROJECTS or BLDG_GROUPS for building group buildings.
