Symbol from Library to Editor

Read the symbol from the symbol list after you have opened the symbol editor. You can also drag a symbol from the Browser to editor.

1. Select tab, Symbols group, Symbol from Library to Editor.
2. Select the symbol in the browser and select Add.

3. If the symbol editor window is not empty when opening a new macro, the program asks for confirmation before clearing the window.

   

4. Select Yes.
5. Select the symbol in the browser and select Add.

Note

• If the editor is not cleared, the symbol is opened as an extension of the previous geometry and IO points.
• The symbol is always opened in the place in which it was originally specified.

Dragging a Symbol from the Browser to the Editor

1. Search Symbol in the Browser
2. Select the symbol in the search result.
3. Drag the symbol to editor. You can edit the symbol.

   

4. Edit symbol in the editor by selecting Yes.
