Part lists functions

Browse part list database
With this function you can browse and edit an existing device list database. After this function has been selected, the program opens a database named in the Device list database field of the drawing group.
List part list database
You can list a device list from the device list database.
After this function has been selected, the program opens the Parts list formats menu, from which the listing format is selected. After selecting the format, a database view is opened, in which search criteria can be entered. The program opens a device list according to the search criteria in a text processing program. The list is automatically saved in the active project directory Shared/projects/project_name/. The list is saved under the name entered in the Device list field of the drawing group.
After exiting the list, a menu is opened from which the list can be printed on a printer selected from the menu.
Create/Update part list database
You can create a new device list, or complete an existing one.
After selecting this function, the program asks whether a new device list is to be created, or an existing one is to be completed. If you select "new" the device list is collected again from the drawings in the drawing group. If you select complete existing one, elements that are to be removed from the drawings are removed from the database, and elements that have been added are added to the database. In this case, additions and changes made manually to the database remain unchanged for the elements in the drawings.
Add a structure to a device list
With this function you can add material information from the title database for those devices in the device list that are without material selection. After this function has been selected, the program opens a menu that includes all labels of the devices in the device list that are without material selection. Select the labels to which material information is to be added. Select component group from the Component groups menu. Select title from the Component code menu. The chosen selections are displayed in the device list database window, where they can be edited, if necessary. After exiting the database view, the program asks whether to accept the selections.
