Calculate a Bearing's Lifetime
Select the lifetime calculation before selecting a bearing type. After selecting the bearing type, select a dynamic or static load to a bearing.
For a dynamic load you must define the values of the radial force, axial force and the rotational velocity. The software calculates the nominal lifetime. Nominal lifetime means according to ISO definition a lifetime, which 90 % of a large amount of identical bearings are expected to reach.
For a static load you must define the values of the radial force and the axial force. The software calculates the basic static load rating. Basic static load rating is defined as a static load which causes a permanent deformation at the contact point of maximum load in the rolling element of 0.0001 times the diameter of the element.
- Select the Perform age calculation before selecting the bearing.
- Select the bearing type.
- Click Next.
- Select Dynamic load or Static load.
Select the New selection you can select a new bearing size for the calculation.
- Enter the values of the load.
